Cookies

The short version: this site sets no tracking or analytics cookies, so there is nothing to consent to and no banner to click through.

Last updated 21 July 2026.

stayed.info does not use cookies to track you, and it does not need your consent to load, because it sets no non-essential cookies at all.

What we do not do

  • No analytics cookies, and no cookie of any kind.
  • No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
  • No embedded third-party scripts that quietly set cookies of their own.
  • No cookie that identifies you or follows you from one page to the next.

What we do measure

This site counts visits and measures how quickly pages load, using Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Neither sets a cookie, neither stores anything on your device, and neither can identify you or follow you to another site. What we see is aggregate: how many people came, which pages they read, roughly where in the world they were, and how fast the page was. Not who you are.

That is also why they need no consent banner: consent is required for storing or reading information on your device, and these store and read nothing.

The app itself is different again. It sets no cookies, because it is not a website, and it carries no advertising or tracking software of any kind. It does offer optional product analytics, off until you switch them on in Settings, which is a separate matter from anything on this page and is set out in full in our privacy policy.

The waitlist, which has closed

Before the app was released, this site had a form for joining a waitlist. The app launched on 21 August 2026 and the form has been removed, so there is nothing here that collects an email address any more.

The addresses given to us at the time are still held by Resend, a company in the United States, which stores them and sends email on our behalf. They were collected for one purpose, telling you when the app was available, and that purpose is now spent. We keep the list for no more than six months from launch and then delete it, exactly as this page promised while the form was live.

The legal basis was your consent. You can withdraw it at any time and we will delete your address sooner: email hello@stayed.info and ask. The controller is Hugo Hodinka, in Barcelona; the details are on our site notice.

Why there is no cookie banner

Under Spanish and EU rules, a consent banner is only required when a site stores or reads non-essential information on your device, such as analytics or advertising cookies. We set none, and the measurement described above stores nothing on your device either, so there is nothing to ask you about. If that ever changes and we add a cookie that needs your consent, we will ask for it first and update this page before doing so.

How your data is handled inside the app is a separate matter, and it is covered in full in our privacy policy.
